There are no words to describe how absolutely AMAZING DJ Shif-D (Dave) is. Anyone planning a wedding…. He is THE one you will want at your wedding. Also, shout out to MC Mo, he was amazing as well!! I have been told SO many times by our guest that he is the best DJ they have seen in years!! He kept the dance floor full until the end of the night. Every guest we have talked to the past for days have made such incredible remarks about this pair! Dave and his crew are so professional, super fun, and take care of EVERYONE at the event. We are a very wide range of ages and music taste at our wedding, and every single taste was played in the BEST way. I may be biased, but DJ Shif-D made our wedding, the absolute best night of our life!! He also let us be the DJ and gave us our private last dance!

They are professional, so fun and take the best care of you! Dave tailored the music to our specific tastes and preferences and knocked it out of the park, especially with us having a multicultural wedding. Dave was incredible to work with for our wedding. He provided sound and music for our ceremony, emceed the night, and was the DJ for our reception! On top of that, he also set up a photobooth and created a BOGO for our reception-we we’re so grateful for such an inclusive and easy to work with vendor! He listened to all of our requests for music and the vibe of the night was exactly what we envisioned. He was very prompt to respond to emails and proved time and time again that he is not only extremely talented, but cares about his client’s experience! It was truly the best night of our lives and we have Dave and his crew to thank for making the experience so perfect! We would 100% recommend Dave for your sounds needs!
Dave is such an amazing DJ! With the wide variety of music we like, I was worried that it would be hard to find a DJ that was able to have the perfect playlist. Dave exceeded our expectations and was able to keep the dance floor going all night! Our night didn’t go seamlessly, we originally had the DJ equipment set up outside on the deck but it got cold and windy quickly! Dave pulled me aside and asked how I felt about moving the dance floor inside to make sure everyone was able to continue to dance and have a good time but ultimately he was willing to do whatever I wanted. I agreed that it would be best to move everything and Dave made it happen! You will definitely not have any regrets if you hire Dave as your DJ!
I can’t say enough great things about Dave. From the our first meeting we knew we would be happy with him. We were so torn between getting a DJ or doing a band and I know that we made the right decision. Dave was super easy to work with and we were able to give him a list of do play and don’t play and he did everything we asked and more! I was a typical bride and got stressed a few days before and he was so patient and easy to work with all the last minute changes I made. My dance floor was never empty and he kept it all moving. His lighting, his MC and everything was just perfect and helped make our day what we wanted. I highly recommend DJ Shif-D if you want a wonderful DJ who will keep your guests on the dance floor all night long!
Omaha couldn’t be more fortunate and lucky to have Dave around! He is, HANDS DOWN, the most entertaining DJ in the Midwest! He not only gets the party started off right, but he keeps it going!! He made sure that he played songs that we specifically wanted, then he did his thing based off of my crowd, and the floor was never empty! I had so many compliments (and still do 2 years later) that my reception was “the best party [people] have ever been to” and that it “looked like a club from the back of the room”. And it was all thanks to Dave and his MC!
Dave did not disappoint. He was professional from the start; his setup was flawless; he hired a legit emcee; and he mixed music that keep people dancing until we walked out the door. Seriously, if you’re going to hire a wedding DJ, don’t go get the local company that everybody uses to play tracks off their iPod.
